Our mandate is to expand the company’s real estate assets and further develop its interests in the industrial, retail, residential and commercial sectors in Canada. Aspen Enterprises has a successful track record of acquiring and developing properties in British Columbia. Our in-house team is responsible for all aspects of property development and have backgrounds in finance, engineering, construction, business, government, community liaison and project management. It is a division of the Aspen Planers (AP) Group of Companies, privately held group of Canadian companies. Founded in 1959 in Merritt, BC by the late Tara Singh Ghog, a pioneer in the forest industry, the AP Group has grown and diversified over the years. The AP Group operates in the forestry, trucking, logistics and property development sectors across BC. For over 30 years, AP Group has been in the commercial and retail property development business.

Bruce Gibson

Bruce Gibson

Vice President of Real Estate Management

Bruce is the lead for the Aspen Enterprises team. Bruce draws upon his 20 years of financing experience to work almost exclusively on the real estate portfolio for the AP Group. Bruce also serves on the Board of Directors for the Port Moody Heritage Society.  Previously, Bruce worked in Washington DC and moved to the Lower Mainland in 2004.  He worked in Corporate Finance with a primary focus on mergers, acquisitions and structuring financing transactions in the technology, forestry and the real estate sector.

Lorne Ebenal

Vice President, Construction Engineer, P.Eng

Lorne spent over 30 years of his career with PCL Construction working in various capacities from carpenter to Senior Construction Manager, responsible for the pursuit and construction of many large and complex construction projects across western Canada and the United States.  Lorne has intimate knowledge of design and construction.

Patty Sahota

Vice President Community Engagement and Strategy

For the past 10 years, Patty has worked and engaged businesses, organizations and individuals on corporate governance, public policy impacts and community engagement. Patty also serves on the board of Westminster Savings Credit Union, is the Chair of the Westminster Savings Foundation and is on the Board of Governors for Simon Fraser University.   Previously, Patty was a MLA and Cabinet Minister in the Government of British Columbia.
